OSU Women’s Soccer Draws at Paul Lorenz Field

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Rin Choi scored her first goal of the season as Oregon State women's soccer played Idaho State to a 1-1 draw on Thursday at Paul Lorenz Field.
Choi found the back of the net in the 25th minute, marking her first as a Beav and giving the team an early advantage. The midfielder played all 90 minutes and finished with two shots, making her third start in as many games this season.
Oregon State created a number of quality chances throughout the match, outshooting the visitors 11-8 and putting three shots on target. Megin Turi recorded two attempts on goal, including one that hit the left post in the 47th minute, while Alyssa White came close to doubling the Beaver lead in the 66th minute, but her effort also struck the crossbar.
White, a native of Nashville, Tenn., started in what was her first appearance at Oregon State, finishing with two shots in 66 minutes of action.
OSU held the lead for over an hour of action after Choi's goal and finished the game with 54% of possession but conceded in the 90th for the 1-1 result.
