Bolden Earns Second WCC Player of the Week Honor
February 23, 2026 | Women's Basketball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Tiara Bolden earned her second WCC Player of the Week award after helping the Beavers sweep a home weekend against Portland and Washington State.
Bolden led the league in scoring last week at 22 points per game, keyed by a herculean effort to knock off Portland in a critical game for Credit Union 1 WCC Basketball Championship seeding.
The Oregonian scored a career-high 29 points as well as six rebounds to lead the Beavers to a 64-54 win over the Pilots. She then added 15 points in the Beavs win over Washington State.
The senior also picked up a conference weekly honor after scoring 25 points in the Beavs' win over Illinois in November. Bolden's is the fifth WCC Weekly award for the Beavs this season with her, Kennedie Shuler (also twice) and Jenna Villa each earning player of the week honors prior to Monday.
Oregon State returns to action on Thursday at San Diego before coming home for Senior Day on Saturday against LMU. Fans can get tickets for half-off for Saturday's game using code FAMILY on BeaverTickets.com.
