Three Beavers Earn Academic All-District Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Three Oregon State Beavers earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors: Ally Schimel, Kennedie Shuler and Tiara Bolden.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The honor is the second consecutive for Shuler, who earned Academic All-District honors last year as well. It is the first for Bolden and Schimel, neither of whom were eligible last season due to transferring in (Bolden) and being a freshman (Schimel).
All three players earned spots on the WCC All-Academic team with Shuler and Schimel making the first team while Bolden picked up honorable mention honors. Bolden (2nd Team) and Shuler (1st Team) also earned All-WCC honors and Shuler was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year.
Shuler and Bolden will also be on the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Last year, Kelsey Rees was named the 13th CSC/CoSIDA Academic All-American in program history and the seventh under Scott Rueck. The honor moved the Beavs into a tie with Tennessee for fifth-most all-time and fourth-most among Division I teams.
