MONMOUTH, Ore. – Pack running paid dividends for Oregon State cross country with the Beavers finishing third at the Mike Johnson Classic.

The five scoring runners for OSU finished within 15 places and 34 seconds of one-another. Kelsey Rodli led the pack in 10th place, joined in the top-20 by Reese Morkert (14th), Jadyn Kipe (17th) and Avery Meier (18th). Katie Kopec rounded out the scorers in 25th.

"We executed really well. We had three freshmen in there mixing it up and some others that are really starting to come around. Great team run today," head coach Louie Quintana said.
Rodli, Meier and Ella Koch (37th place) all made their 6K collegiate debuts in the race.

Next up, the Beavs head to Madison, Wisconsin to battle their toughest field of the regular season at the Nuttycombe Invitational on Oct. 9.
