Oregon State Returns to Pac-12 Cross Country Championships Friday

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State cross country will compete in the first championships of the new Pac-12 on Friday in Boise, Idaho.

The Beavers top runners last competed at the Nuttycombe Invitational, placing 24th in a field that featured the majority of the USTFCCA Top-25. OSU enters the meet ranked fourth in the Pac-12 by the USTFCCA and sixth in the west region.

A strong finish at the Pac-12 meet would give the Beavs wins over multiple top west region teams and aid the team's efforts to make the NCAA Championships. Automatic qualifiers for the NCAA meet are determined at the NCAA West Regional in November, but head-to-head victories are factored into at-large decisions.
