Beavers Head to Nuttycombe & Dellinger Invitational on Friday

October 08, 2026 | Women's Cross Country

By: Athletic Communications

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State cross country enters the weekend with massive opportunity in front of the team as the Beavs will split their squad with half running at the Nuttycombie Invitational in Madison, Wisc. and the rest going to the Dellinger Invitational in Springfield, Ore.

Of the two races, Nuttycombe is more nationally relevant with 17 of the 34 teams in the field ranked among the USTFCCCA Top-25. Beating top-25 squads gives the Beavers' a significant boost and puts less pressure on team to place highly at the NCAA West Regional meet in order to return to the national championship meet.

The Dellinger Invite features more regional competition with host Oregon joined by USC, San Diego State and Hawai'i among others. Fans who want to cheer on the Beavs can find information on parking, shuttles to the course and a course map on the meet information page.
