Outdoors: Competed five times during the outdoor season, twice in the 1,500m and three times in the 5,000m … PR’d in the 1,500m in her outdoor debut at the Willamette Opener (March 2) when she ran 4:43.53 to finish third … Also PR’d in her first-ever 5K when she ran 17:17.45 at the Stanford Invitational (March 29) … Was Oregon State’s lone representative in the 5,000m at the Pac-12 Championships (May 12), finishing 23rd with a time of 17:51.30. Indoors: Finished fourth in the 3,000m at the UW Invitational (Jan. 20) with a time of 9:56.81, which places fifth on Oregon State’s all-time indoor list in that event. Was Oregon State’s top freshman finisher and third overall at NCAA Regionals on Nov. 9, finishing 86th with a time of 21:27, which is the 11th-fastest 6,000-meter result in OSU history … Also posted the program’s 19th-best 5,000-meter time in her first career race at the Pier Park Invitational on Sept. 1, coming in 11th at 17:51.2 … Came in 54th at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 22:00 … Ran in the Women’s Red Seeded 6K at NCAA Pre-Nationals, registering a time of 21:57.9 for 149th on the 6,000-meter course … Came in sixth at the Charles Bowles Invitational on Sept. 29 (18:19.79; 5K).
SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL
Competed four years at the varsity level in cross country for head coach Dave Clark and in track for head coach Dave Turnbull … Served as a team captain for both the cross country and track teams … Was an all-state team member and also earned her school’s most inspirational and coach’s awards … Teams were both state and regional champions as well as national qualifiers … Personal records include 4:43 in the 1,500, 10:28 in the 3,000 and 18:42 in the cross country 5K.
