Jeff Macy serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health, Wellness, and Performance at Oregon State University, overseeing Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, and Sport Psychology. He also serves as Sport Supervisor for Baseball, Cross Country and Track & Field, Men's Rowing, Women’s Rowing, and Women’s Soccer, and is a member of the Athletic Director’s Executive Team, helping guide department-wide strategy, leadership, and policy development.
Macy first joined Oregon State in 2006 as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach before spending five seasons as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Milwaukee Bucks. He returned to OSU in 2013 as Director of Sports Performance and was later promoted to Associate Athletic Director. His career also includes stints with the Chicago Bulls and Bradley University.
A 1993 graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Macy also earned his MBA from Oregon State University in 2025.
A former elite weightlifter, he captured two USA Weightlifting National Championships, was a four-year resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, and placed 13th at the 1993 World Championships.
Macy and his wife, Barb, have two children: son Will, an Oregon State graduate who works in education, and daughter Claire, a former college soccer player and graduate of Quincy University, who now serves as a graduate assistant strength coach at the University of Georgia.
