STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Steven Jackson ran for 230 yards and a touchdown as Oregon State rallied for a 31-21 victory over Stanford on Saturday.
Derek Anderson's 46-yard pass to James Newson with 9:36 remaining put the Beavers (7-4, 3-4 Pac-10) ahead to stay and made them bowl-eligible with their third win in four games.
Kerry Carter rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown as Stanford (2-8, 1-6) lost its fourth straight.
Junior Kirk Yliniemi was 3-for-3 on field goals, setting an Oregon State record with 12 consecutive made field goals.
The go-ahead touchdown was set up by Terrell Roberts' second interception of the season.

Oregon State's Dennis Erickson coached his 200th game. Erickson, who coached previously at Idaho, Wyoming, Washington State and Miami, has an overall record of 143-56-1.
Dwight Wright added a 4-yard touchdown run to make it 31-21. Jackson's 70-yard run set up the score. Jackson has rushed for over 200 yards three times this season.
The Cardinal held a 21-6 lead at halftime, but Oregon State closed the gap on the first play from scrimmage in the second half. Jackson, the Pac-10's leading rusher, found an opening along the right side and raced 58 yards virtually untouched into the end zone to make it 21-13.
Yliniemi's third field goal of the game, a 24-yarder early in the fourth quarter, brought the Beavers to 21-16.
Stanford took the early lead when Kyle Matter threw a 49-yard TD pass to Luke Powell, the longest touchdown pass of the season. That ended a six-play, 91-yard drive, only the fifth time all season the Beavers have allowed a drive of 80 yards or more.
Stanford took advantage of two big plays to score a pair of second-quarter touchdowns. T.J. Rushing picked off his second pass of the season, returning it 63 yards to Oregon State's 7-yard line. Two plays later, Carter scored on a 1-yard run.
Powell returned a punt 32 yards that led to Matter's 31-yard touchdown pass to senior fullback Casey Moore.
Stanford sophomore Will Svitek played tight end and defensive end. He started the season as a defensive end but was switched to tight end after three games. Injuries forced Svitek into double duty.
