MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Tonight's announced attendance was 8,029.
• Oregon State will return to action Wednesday, Apr. 1, in El Paso, Texas against UTEP in game 2 of the College Basketball Invitational Championship best of three series.
TEAM NOTES
• Head coach Craig Robinson recorded his 17th career victory at Oregon State.
• Monday's game against UTEP was just the third all-time. Oregon State leads the all-time series 2-1 after the victory.
• The wins over Houston, Vermont, Stanford and UTEP in the CBI marks the first time in school history the Beavers have ever won four post-season games.
• 17 wins is the most by a Beaver squad since the 2004-05 season.
• Game two of the CBI Championship Series will mark the first time in Oregon State history the Beavers have played a contest in April.
• Currently, the Beavers have a plus-11 game turnaround from last season which is tied for third best turnaround in the nation.
• Oregon State never trailed in the contest.
• Oregon State shot 68.4 percent from the field in the second half (13-of-19) and 60.5 percent for the contest on 26-of-43 shooting. It was the 13th time the Beavers have shot over 50 percent this season.
• The Beavers shot 53.3 percent from 3-point range making 8-of-15 attempts.
• Oregon State had four players score in double-figures.
• Oregon State scored 28 points in the paint.
• The Beavers recorded nine steals and 17 assists.
• The Beavers scored 14 points off turnovers.
• Seven players recorded multiple rebounds.
PLAYER NOTES
• Junior Roeland Schaftenaar led the Beavers in scoring with 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 9-of-14 free-throws. Schaftenaar now has 15 double-digit scoring performances this season.
• Sophomore Lathen Wallace tied his season high with 18 points going 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Wallace has scored in double-figures 12 times this season. Wallace's five 3-pointers is tied with sophomore Danielle Deane's five at Nevada for the most 3-pointers made in a game this season.
• Junior Seth Tarver scored 17 points on a perfect 8-of-8 from the field.
• Senior Rickey Claitt scored 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting.
• Claitt and Schaftenaar each tied their career highs with six assists.
• Tarver recorded two steals in the game bringing his season total to 60, good enough to tie for the 10th most steals in a season in OSU history.
• Junior Josh Tarver tied his season high with three steals.
• Wallace led the Beavers in rebounding with six.
