Beavers Fall in Civil War Finale

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon State softball team dropped the Civil War finale, 7-0 against No. 6 Oregon on Sunday afternoon at Jane Sanders Stadium.

The Beavers generated one hit in the defeat, which was an infield single by Kayleen Shafer in the third inning.
Â
Taylor Cotton got the nod and threw the first two innings, allowing three runs on two hits in the loss. Nerissa Eason finish the last four frames recording two earned runs.

Oregon State (24-22, 6-12 Pac-12) will head to Portland State on Wednesday to play a non-conference game starting at 5:00 p.m.
