Cal scored two in the bottom of the fourth to reclaim the lead.
The Beavers went on a two-out rally in the sixth after Shafer walks and was replaced by a pinch runner, Lovie Lopez. Fallon Molnar pinch hit for Phillips and walked to bring Phillips back in to run the bases when Weeks doubled into center field scoring both Lopez and Phillips. Garcia followed up with a hit into right field allowing Weeks to score and the Beavers to take a 6-4 lead that held for the remainder of the game.
Senior Meehra Nelson started in the circle for the Beavers and pitched four innings striking out one batter before Mariah Mazon entered in the fifth inning and finished with two strike outs. Mazon picked up the win, improving to 12-9 on the season.
