Beavs Close Homestand with Arizona Saturday Afternoon

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 12 Oregon State gymnastics team welcomes Arizona to Legendary Gill Coliseum on Saturday, February 18 at 12:30 p.m. for the Beavs Dam Worth It / Alumni meet.
The meet is set to air on the Pac-12 Network with Rich Burk and Alisa Mowe on the call. The Beavs will follow Olympic order of vault, bars, beam and floor, with the visiting Wildcats rotating vault, bars, floor and finish on beam.

ALUMNI MEET
During the meet, OSU Trailblazers will be honored for their contributions to Oregon State and for paving the way for current and future generations of women's athletes. Earlier this year, the 1980 gymnastics team was inducted into the Oregon State Hall of Fame as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Title IX.
LAST TIME OUT
The No. 13 Oregon State gymnastics team earned its second tie of the season and tied the 12th highest score in program history, battling No. 7 Cal to a 197.375 draw last Friday at Gill Coliseum
SERIES HISTORY
The Beavs and Wildcats will meet for the 94th time on Saturday afternoon. Oregon State holds a 20-5 advantage in Corvallis and will look to push their streak to five-straight victories over Arizona. The GymBeavs lead the overall series 66-27 and are 57-24 against the Wildcats during the regular season.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The Wildcats are directed by John Court, who is in his fifth season as the leader of the Arizona program. Arizona defeated Washington for their first Pac-12 win of the season last Friday with a season-high 196.800. Arizona returns 15 gymnasts from last season. Among the 15 returners, senior Sirena Linton, competed in all 13 meets last year and was named second team All-American on beam after earning a 9.9125 at the NCAA Championships as an individual competitor.
UP NEXT
Oregon State heads back out on the road for their next two meets, before concluding the regular season with a home dual against Utah on Saturday, March 11. The Beavs depart Corvallis Thursday morning to take on Stanford Friday, February 24 in Palo Alto, Calif.
