No. 12 GymBeavs Trek to Seattle for Meet with No. 25 Washington

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State gymnastics team will make the trip up I-5 to face the No. 25 Washington Huskies in Seattle on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. PT at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Beavs will start on bars, then rotate to vault, floor and finish the meet on beam with the host Huskies set to follow Olympic order of vault, bars, beam and floor.

LAST TIME OUT
In a back-and-forth affair at the Pauley Pavilion on Sunday afternoon, the Oregon State gymnastics team ended in a 197.275 deadlock with UCLA in the Pac-12 opener for both teams. The Beavs 197.275 was their highest on the road this season and the highest score in program history competing at UCLA.
SERIES HISTORY
The Beavs and Huskies have met a program-record 143 times, with Saturday's matchup marking the 144th meeting all-time between the two teams. Oregon State holds a 25-14 advantage in Seattle having not dropped a dual meet to Washington on the road since 2018 and leads the overall series 114-29 dating back to 1977.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The Huskies are led by second-year head coach and former GymBeav Jen Llewellyn. Washington earned their second 196 score of the season against #4 Utah on Jan. 28, securing a 196.350 with numerous GymDawgs setting season and career highs. Kennedi Davis set a beam season high (9.875). Thu Nguyen set a new career high with her second floor routine of the season (9.825). Skylar Killough-Wilhelm tied a season high on floor (9.850) and earned a new season high on bars (9.900). Brenna Brooks tied a career high on vault (9.850). Lana Navarro tied a career high on beam (9.900) and earned a season high vault score (9.825).

Oregon State enjoys their longest stretch of the season without an away meet returning home from Seattle on Feb. 4 before traveling to No. 24 Stanford 19 days later on Feb. 23. During the stretch, the Beavs face-off with No. 7 Cal on Friday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. PT and Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 12:30 p.m. PT at Legendary Gill Coliseum.
