CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Track and Field embarks on a busy week with Beavs slated to compete at four meets in Texas and California this week.

The Beavers' sprints, jumps and throws groups are in Texas for the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational. The distance group is in the Bay Area for the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Distance Classic, hosted by SF State.

The week opens with the heptathlon at the Texas Relays on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. PT. Some of the relays will be televised on Longhorn Network and live results are available here. The remainder of the Beavs in Texas will compete at the Bobcat Invite. A live results link will be on this page and the track and field schedule when available.

The Beavs in the Bay begin their week on Thursday with the steeplechase. Both of the Bay Area meets will be streamed on FloTrack. The Stanford Invitational live results can be found here and the Mike Fanelli Classic results will be here.

The Beaver Schedule for the week will continue to be updated as heat sheets for the week's meets are released.

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon State recorded 13 top-three finishes and three wins in its second outdoor track and field meet of the year at the Willamette Invitational. The Beavers totaled up eight personal best marks among the 15 that competed including one move up the OSU Top 10.

The field group opened the day for the Beavers with five top-three results across two events. OSU filled the podium in the high jump with Emma Nelson, Savannah Reilly and Anneke Moersdorf taking the top three spots. In the javelin, Maryann Ackerman placed second with a 43.27m/141-11 toss. Jazlyn Romero came in right behind Ackerman with a 40.54m/133-0 throw in her season debut. Mia Fowler closed the day in the field with a career-best 2.05m/10-0 clearance in the pole vault.

On the track, Adael Scatena continued her hot start to the outdoor season with a victory and the no. 4 time in school history in the 400-meter hurdles. The junior's 1:00.59 narrowly outpaced teammate Taylor Weidinger (1:02.73), who finished second with a personal best of her own.

The Beavers head up the road to Monmouth, Ore. for the John Knight Twilight on April 7.
