STARTING FIVE
CLUTCH KENNEDIE
The Beavers turned to Kennedie Shuler with the game on the line three times. She delivered all three times. The sophomore point guard hit game-winning and-ones against LMU (in regulation), at Santa Clara (in overtime) to secure crucial conference play victories. With 0.8 seconds left in the WCC Semifinal game against Gonzaga, Shuler clutched up once again with a layup to secure the ticket to the finals.
AGE IS JUST A NUMBER
Due to a mix of injuries, redshirts, covid years and Pavia waivers, three Beavers will be in at least their sixth season of college basketball this year: Catarina Ferreira (6th), Néné Sow (6th) and Lizzy Williamson (7th).
¡VAMOS ESPANA!
Lara Alonso-Basurto, Cloe Vecina and Lucia Navarro make up the Spanish trio on Oregon State's roster. The latter duo were the first Spanish players at OSU under Scott Rueck, Navarro and Alonso played together during tryouts for the U20 Spanish EuroBasket team this summer.
