Dax Whitney held Santa Clara hitless over five innings as Oregon State won the matchup, 8-0, in a game shortened to seven innings due to rain. He struck out five and Zach Edwards came on in relief for two scoreless, striking out four. Easton Talt, Gavin Turley and Wilson Weber all had two hits with the latter driving in three runs. Talt also drove in two runs. The Beavers plated three runs in the fourth, four in the sixth and one more in the seventh before the game was halted.
