CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team will look to close the 2024-25 season on a high note when the Beavers will have six competitors in the 2025 NCAA Championships this week.
Six will represent Oregon State at Philadelphia's Wells-Fargo Center as each will vie for a national championship in their respective weight classes.

The Focus is on Philadelphia
• Oregon State will complete the season and turn its attention to the NCAA Championships this week which will take place in Philadelphia.
• The Beavers finished an arduous 2024-25 schedule that saw OSU face seven ranked opponents, including three in the top-five.
• Action this week from the Wells Fargo Center is set for a 9 a.m. PT start.
Sending Six
• Oregon State will have six qualified for this week's NCAAs.
• 2025 marks the fourth time in the Pendleton era (2020/21-Pres.) that OSU will have six competitors at the NCAAs.
First Time (x5)
• Five of the six Beavers will be making their first NCAA Championships with Trey Munoz being the outlier.
• Maximo Renteria (125), Nash Singleton (141), Ethan Stiles (149), CJ Hamblin (157) and TJ McDonnell (184) will all be making appearances this week in Philadelphia.
• Renteria, Stiles, Hamblin and McDonnell are all in their first full seasons of competition.
Nash Pins to Win
• The lone Oregonian in the lineup, Nash Singleton (141) clinched his Pac-12 title with a pair of wins at fall. The Roseburg product pinned Korbin Sheppard of Cal Poly before defeating Little Rock's Brennan Van Hoecke for the title.
Munoz Looking for More
• Trey Munoz is looking to achieve All-American status for the third time in his final NCAA Championhsips.
• He would be the first three-time All-American since Amar Dhesi since 2016, 18-19.
• The redshirt senior is making his fifth NCAA Championships appearance and fourth as a Beaver.
• He's the sole Beaver to have faced his opening opponent prior to this week. Back in November at the Navy Classic, he beat Camden McDanel by major decision, 11-1.
Worst to First
• Entering the postseason on an eight-loss skid, TJ McDonnell ran the table to a Pac-12 crown at 184.
• He was the fourth seed at last week's Pac-12s and defeated top-seeded Brock Delsignore in the semis before coming from behind force sudden victory and knocking off Legend Lamer for the league's automatic bid.
Doing it in Stile(s)
• In just his first season competing, Ethan Stiles clinched his first trip to the NCAAs at 149. Despite starting '24/'25 at 157, he managed to climb as high as fifth in both major polls and had multiple six-bout winning streaks.
Maximo-um Effort
• Maximo Renteria (125) claimed his first NCAAs bid with a conference title. He used two wins at major decision last time out at the Pac-12 Championships.
• Entering Philadelphia, he has won six of his last eight bouts with both setbacks coming against ranked opponents.
CJ Makes it Six
• CJ Hamblin will enter Philadelphia as a recipient of a final at-large bid. He went 1-1 at the Pac-12s and has won five of his last eight.
