Oregon State Women’s Rowing to Compete at Washington State

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State women's rowing will continue its spring season on Saturday, heading north to face No. 24 Washington State.
Saturday's regatta will feature six different races, starting with the 3V8+ and progressing to the 2V4+, 2V8+, 1V4+, 1V8+ and finishing with the 3V/4V4+ race.
OSU was last in action on March 29, sweeping the NCAA boats in a home regatta against No. 21 Gonzaga and Portland. The Beavs' first win came in the varsity four, who posted an 11 second margin of victory, which was followed by another win in the 2V8+ and 1V8+ races.
For its performance, the varsity eight, coxed by Taylor Denger and including Giulia Clerici, Charlotte Lightfoot, Lauren Garrett, Rhi Loughnan, Tulla Angeley, Annelise Norkitis, Ashtyn Miller and Linda Weitmann, was named WCC Crew of the Week.
The Beavs return to action in two weeks, heading to Sarasota, Fla., to compete in the Big Ten Invite on April 18 and 19.
