INDOOR SEASON IN REVIEW
Oregon State is coming off a wildly successful indoor season that included three All-America honors and eight new school records across both track (4) and field (4) events.
Â
Kaylee Mitchell and Grace Fetherstonhaugh became the first four-time indoor All-Americans in school history in March, bringing home a total of three. Fetherstonhaugh became the first Beav to earn indoor All-America honors in three straight years with her performance in the 3,000 meters. Mitchell continued to prove that she is one of the top distance runners in the country with top-16 finishes in the mile and 3,000 meters.
Â
Mitchell also broke school records in the mile and 3,000 meters during the indoor season. She joined Adael Scatena (200m), Delaney Bahn (Long Jump), Anneke Moersdorf (Triple Jump, Heptathlon) and Keely McLaughlin (Shot Put) as record-breakers. The 4x400 meter team of Scatena, Jada Hurley, Mari Friedman, and Taylor Weidinger also smashed the previous OSU best with a 3:44.75.
Â
UP NEXT
The Beavs stay in state next weekend with a trip north to Salem, Ore. for the Willamette Invitational.
