OSU Falls On Senior Day

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State softball team closed the 2025 season with a 15-4 setback to Santa Clara on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers (24-23, 7-8) had a comeback fall short following three runs in the third inning before the Broncos pulled away in the fourth and fifth frames.
Madison Weir and Jaeya Butler knocked third-inning home runs to plate runs. Butler and Lici Campbell led the OSU offense with a pair of hits each while Butler's two RBI paced the home team.
Ellie Garcia (11-11) was charged with the loss after surrendering the game's initial six runs in 1.2 innings tossed. Logan Hulon threw the game's final 3.1 and struck out three.
