Will Vaught

Will Vaught is in his third year as the volleyball, wrestling and softball contact at Oregon State.
He came to Corvallis following an 11-month stint at Mercer University, in Macon, Georgia, where he led the communications for the entire 18-sport department. Vaught led promotional efforts for the first NFL Draft entrant in Mercer football history in 2022.
Prior to Mercer, Vaught was an Athletic Media Relations Student Assistant at Vanderbilt University while working toward his Master of Sport Administration at nearby Belmont University. While on Nashville's West End, he served as the main contact for men's tennis while a secondary for lacrosse, soccer, women's tennis and swimming. During the fall of 2020, Vaught aided in the promotion of Sarah Fuller, a goalkeeper on the soccer team, joining the Commodores' football team in the COVID-impacted season and becoming the first woman to score in a Power Five football game. His start in athletic communications was at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he served as a volunteer assistant.
Vaught is also a part of the final graduating class of his undergraduate alma mater, Armstrong State University, in Savannah, Georgia.
