MISSOULA, Mont. – Ella Dardis' three RBI and Logan Hulon's lockdown presence from the circle pushed the Oregon State softball team to a sweep of Montana with a 6-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

The Beavers (14-13) piled eight hits to the Grizzlies' one as consistent offense helped clinch the result. In addition to the single hit surrendered, Hulon fanned eight batters

Oregon State's offense got underway in the second when Nicole Donahue blasted a home run and drove in Tristian Thompson for the early 2-0 advantage. After Donahue walked and Paige Bambarger singled to left, Dardis sent a two-bagger to left to double the Beavers' lead to four after the fourth.

Two more insurance runs were added in the final two frames of the game to firmly put it out of Montana's reach. Dardis brought Jada Lewis on a fielder's choice in the sixth before Samantha Gutierrez's seventh inning single scored Jaeya Butler to cap the offense.

Hulon took a perfect game bid to the fourth inning before a single up the middle with two outs spoiled the attempt. Today was her third outing of the season where she threw a shutout and gave up just one hit.

Montana's sole baserunner never got beyond first base.

Dardis' three RBI – which led the team for the day – was a career-best, besting a two-RBI day in a neutral win over Long Beach last month. With a pair on the day, Donahue led the Oregon State offense in hits with six others tallying one.

Following a bye week, Oregon State will be back in action against Oregon to resume the Rivalry Series on April 2^nd at Kelly Field. First pitch against the Ducks is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
