CORVALLIS, Ore. – Staying warm from last week's doubleheader, Oregon State defeated Montana in a matinee matchup at Kelly Field for the homestand's penultimate game, 7-0.

Jada Lewis paced the Beavers (17-16) in three categories: runs scored (3), RBI (3) and hits (2) on a day where the offense put up eight hits. Nicole Donahue followed in runs batted in with a pair while six other Beavers registered a hit.

The Beavers plated five of their seven runs between the third and fourth frames for the needed separation against the Grizzlies. Donahue used a single to right-center in the third to push Lewis and Justice Flores for a 3-0 lead before Lewis' two-RBI double to left-center highlighted a three-run fourth.

In the fifth, Lewis used sacrifice fly to center, that scored Donahue to cap the scoring at 7-0.

Logan Hulon (9-10) picked up the win – her third against the Griz this season – after tossing the game's 7.0 frames. The graduate student struck out nine but walked a pair and yielded six hits.

With the win, Oregon State completed a season sweep of Montana. Last month, the Beavers swept a three-game set against the Griz in Missoula.

Oregon State will close the season's longest homestand with the rubber match of the Rivalry Series against Oregon on Wednesday, April 16. First pitch against the Ducks is slated for 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
